Welcome
Welcome to the Hudson County Fire Prevention & Protection Association's new web site.  The purpose of this site is to keep our members updated and informed; however, the site is has not yet reached its final stage of development and probably never will as the website is always being updated with new information when ever possible.  You will discover a full-service web site that provides information regarding events, meetings, seminars, and sponsors as it pertains to individual members and to the Association.  Any information that you think might be of interest to the members of our Association, please forward it to atanski@townofharrison.com. Keep in mind, also, that you must allow ample time for this information to post to this web site.

False Fire Alarm Effort Gains Support :  How many false fire alarms are there each day in the United States? According to the National Fire Protection Association, more than six thousand...and the number is increasing.

Using the Internet to email a public service announcement directly to television stations has helped get the message out. According to producer, Richard Lambert, a 60 second PSA was created in February and fire departments across the country have participated in getting it aired.

Lambert says, "Our online stats show that over three hundred fire departments have emailed the PSA to television stations, and we're hoping to see five hundred stations air the message by the end of the year."  Go Here to watch the PSA.
